Is your story similar to mine? The summer is here and my students are on to their summer opportunities (or not), and for a month or so I have peace and clarity. Just as I finish reflecting on the previous school year, it’s back to professional development days, planning advisories, and the curriculum. For a moment, I feel like the greatest teacher ever . . . then the students come back to school and ruin everything.
